The 1st Student BarCamp as part of the BrainTwin project will be taking place from May 26-27 in a virtual format.

The aim of the event is to promote science among youth in the field of neuroengineering and to recruit students for the PhD program at TUIASI. During the BarCamp students will self-organise into groups and compete in developing their own research idea on how to improve the quality of life for patients with neurodegenerative diseases. The objective is to train students with a background in engineering to develop and pitch multidisciplinary project ideas that make use of basic concepts in engineering and new technology. With the help of the BarCamp the project aims to improve the scientific innovation capacities of early stage and young researchers at TUIASI.
