Announcing the winner of the first BrainTwin Student Research Paper Competition

The BrainTwin project is pleased to announce the winner of the First BrainTwin Student Research Paper Competition, held in November 2021.

After the closure of the extended submission deadline by the end of November, we received 13 submissions from students at multiple universities across Romania.

The Organising Committee has been carefully evaluating each submission, and after a long deliberation, has decided that this year’s best paper award goes to Thomas Gabriel Schreiner, a 3rd year PhD student at the Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iaşi, for his paper entitled “Obesity and Multiple Sclerosis—A Multifaceted Association”, published in the Journal of Clinical Medicine.

The whole BrainTwin team sends their most sincere congratulations to the winner, which has been awarded with a short-term visit to one of the BrainTwin partner institutions.

We would like to thank all participants for your outstanding submissions and remind you to stay tuned and get ready for next year’s competition.
